Fundamentals

The protection of our customer's privacy is a top priority for the Wafe Technology GmbH. We process customer data therefore only in accordance with the legal requirements (DSGVO). In this privacy policy, we inform our customers about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Usage of Cookies

By default, cookies are used on our website. Of course, the user can setup his browser in a way such that our cookies will not be saved on the users machine and existing cookies are deleted. The procedure to disable the usage of cookies is a follows:

Internet Explorer:

  1. In the menu "Extras", choose "Internet Options".
  2. Select the tab "Privacy".
  3. Now the cookies to be accepted or declined can be selected.
  4. Hitting "OK" saves the settings.

Firefox:

  1. In the menu "Extras", choose settings.
  2. Select "Privacy".
  3. In the dropdown menu, choose "User defined".
  4. Several customisations are possible now such as generally accepting cookies, the storage duration and exceptions can be added.
  5. Hitting "OK" saves the settings.

Google Chrome:

  1. Select the chrome-menu in the browser's bar.
  2. Choose "settings".
  3. Choose "advanced settings".
  4. Under "Privacy", choose "Content Settings".
  5. Under "Cookies", the following settings are possible:
    • Delete Cookies
    • Block Cookies by default
    • Allow Cookies by debault
    • Delete Cookies and other website specific content Webseitendaten by default after closing the browser
    • Allow exceptions for specific websites

Safari:

  1. Choose settings and then "Safari".
  2. Under "Privacy & Security", the user has the option to block Cookies by default.

We would like to inform you that Cookies are required for the registration and for creating orders in our shop. Therefore, we advise our customers to allow us to use Cookies.

Customer Data For Orders in The Webshop

The user can visit our website without providing personal details. When registering as a customer and when creating an order in our webshop which leads to the shipment of goods, we obtain only personal data that is required for the processing of the order. When registering and ordering, Cookies are used.

User Data From Contact Forms

If the user gets in touch with us via the contact form on the website or e-mail, the obtained data are solely used for the processing of the request and stored in case of an on-going conversation with the customer. We will not pass this data to third parties wihtout the consent of the user.

Google Analytics (Webtracking)

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analyse tool developed and provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses Cookies, which is text-files that are saved on a customer's computer and that enable a analysis on the usage of our website by the customer. The information obtained by the Cookies about the user activities on the website are transmitted to a server o owned by Google in the US and are stored there. By activating the IP-anonymisation on this website, we ensure that the IP-address of our customers are shorted inside the EU and further states that are part of the European Economic Area (EEA). Google uses these information to evaluate the usage of our website, create reports about the general website activities and to provide additional services that are related to website- and internet-usage for the website owners. The IP-address transmitted by Google Analytics from the customer's computer is not merged with other data of Google. The user can prohibit the usage of Cookies in his browser settings. However, we want to inform the customer that in this case the flawless functionality of the is not guaranteed anymore. In addition, the user is able to prevent the gathering of the previously described data (IP-address and website usage analysis) by installing a browser plugin that can be found under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

reCAPTCHA

To protect ourselves from malicious requests on our contact page, we use Google's reCAPTCHA service. The service's purpose is to determine if the request is sent by a customer or an automated machine. The service includes the submission of the IP-address and possibly additional data required by Google to make the decision. For this purpose, the input of the customer is sent to Google and processed there. Howeber, the IP-addresses of our customers are shorted inside the EU and further states that are part of the European Economic Area (EEA). Only in exceptional cases, the full IP-address is submitted to Google in the US and shorted there. In our assignment, Google uses this information to evaluate the customer-usage of this service. The IP-address transmitted by Google Analytics from the customer's computer is not merged with other data of Google. For this data, the policy of Google is applicable. Usage and Transfer of Customer Data

The usage of customer data is used solely for the completion of customre requests and shop orders. A transfer of customer data is only made to the company which is assigned to the shipping (if it is not sent in-house) and/or retailing partners if needed for the fulfillment of the shipping. Additionally, the necessary transfer of our customer's data to our payment partner Saferpay is done if the customer decides to pay by credit card. A passing on of customer data to any other third party which is not necessary to the fulfillment of an order does not take place. A transfer to other states is not planned.

Data Protection

Data related to credit cards als explicitly handled by our payment partnter Saferpay. This data is used only according to the regulations and policies of saferpay. The details can be found at www.safepay.com. Wafe Technology GmbH does not have access to any critical information such as credit card numbers etc.

The access to the customer account is only possible through input of the password. The login information should be kept private at all times and the browser window closed after the used logged out, especially on shared computers.

Right to Information / Miscellaneous

    The customer has the right of free information about the stored data related to him. This includes the right of confirmation, changing, deletion, passing on of the data. In case of questions about the storage of data or the usage of the personal data or if the customers wants his data manipulated (such as deleted, changed etc), the following address serves as contact point:

    The purpose of the company is to present and advertise as well as the sale and distribution of the insole chili-feet. The data acquisition, processing, submission and usage is solely for the execution of this purpose.

    Customer data as well as other business partners if those are necessary for the fulfillment of the objectives stated under 4. (Business partners are resellers, distributors and advertisers listed under partnerships). On request, we inform the customer und which circumstances the customer data is possibly saved and what the particular data is.

  6. Receiver or category of receivers of customer data:

    Public authorities if there are legal provisions of priority, external service providers and contractors as well as external agencies, in-house departments of Wafe Technology GmbH in order to meet the objectives laid down at item 4. In accordance with applicable privacy laws and with the customer's consent customer data can be passed over to marketing agencies.

  7. Time limits for the deletion of data:

    The legislative body prescribes a variety of obligations and periods concerning retaining and deleting data. After such periods have expired, the relevant data is routinely deleted, if it is no longer needed to fulfil contracts. Where data is not affected by this, it is deleted when the purposes listed under point 4 no longer apply. Each customer needs to register in order to use our web-shop and therefore has a personal account. In this case, the data is kept as long as the customer does not resign his registration. The customer is entitled to resign at any time.

Newsletter

We do not send a send a newsletter. In case of shipping issues, after shipping issues have been resolved or in case of other relevant events, we inform our customers by e-mail.

Your rights

The customer has the right of informtation about his data as well as correction, deletion, transmission and resignment. If the customer believes that the usage of this data violates the data protection law or his data protection rights are violated in any circumstances, he can file complaints at the respective regulatory authority.
