The protection of our customers' privacy is very important to Brüniger & Co. Engineering GmbH, on behalf of Wafe Technology GmbH, (hereinafter also referred to as "Brüniger"). We therefore process customer data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR). In the present data protection regulations (data protection information) we inform our customers about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website.
Use of cookies
By default, cookies are used on our website. Of course, the customer can set up his browser in such a way that he does not save our cookies on the hard drive in the future or deletes cookies that have already been saved. Cookies can be disabled as follows:
Im Internet Explorer:
- Select "Internet Options" from the "Extras" menu.
- Click on the "Privacy" tab.
- Now you can make the security settings for the Internet zone. Here you can set whether and which cookies should be accepted or rejected.
- With "OK" you confirm your setting.
Im Firefox:
- From the "Extras" menu, select Settings.

- Now you can set whether to accept cookies, how long you want to keep those cookies and add exceptions to which websites you always or never want to allow using cookies.
- With "OK" you confirm your setting.
Im Google Chrome:
- Click on the Chrome menu in the browser toolbar.
- Now select "Settings".
- Click on "Show advanced settings".
- Under "Privacy," click "Content Settings."
- Under "Cookies" you can make the following settings for cookies:
- delete cookies
- Block cookies by default
- Allow cookies by default
- Delete cookies and website data by default after closing the browser
- Allow exceptions for cookies from specific websites or domains
Im Safari:
- Go to "Settings" and select "Safari".
- Under the topic "Data protection & security" the customer will find the option "Always block" under the item "Block cookies".
However, you can only register and place an order by using our cookies. We therefore recommend our customers to leave the receipt of cookies switched on.
Customer data for order
In principle, the customer can visit the Brüniger website without providing any personal information. When registering as a customer or When goods are ordered, only personal data is collected to process the transaction. Cookies are used for ordering and registration.
Customer data for contact with us
If the customer contacts us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data provided will be stored and processed by us solely for the purpose of processing the request and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without the consent of the customer.
Google Analytics (Webtracking)
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files which are stored on the customer's computer and which enable an analysis of the use of the website by the customer. The information generated by the cookie about customer use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, by activating IP anonymization on this website, the customer IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the customer's browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. The customer can also prevent the data generated by the cookie and related to the use of the website (incl. reCAPTCHA
We use the reCAPTCHA service from Google Inc. (Google) to protect customer inquiries via the Internet form. The query serves to distinguish whether the input is made by a human or abusively by automated, machine processing. The query includes sending the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google. For this purpose, the customer's input is transmitted to Google and used there. However, the IP address is shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate customer use of this service. The IP address transmitted by the customer's browser as part of reCaptcha is not merged with other Google data. The deviating data protection regulations of the company Google apply to this data. Use and Disclosure of Customer Information
The data provided by the customer is used exclusively for the fulfillment and processing of customer inquiries and customer orders. Customer data is therefore only passed on to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery (if this is not done by the company itself) and/or to sales partners, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of the goods, resp. is necessary to fulfill the customer order. When paying by credit card, the necessary payment data is also passed on to our partner Saferpay. Customer data that is not required to fulfill and process the customer order will not be passed on to third parties. A transfer to third countries is not planned.
data security
Credit card data is collected and processed exclusively by our payment service provider Shopify. In the case of an order with payment via Shopify Payments, this data is used exclusively in accordance with Shopify's provisions. Details can be viewed at www.shopify.com. Brüniger never has access to payment-related information such as credit card no. Etc.
Access to the customer account is only possible after entering the personal password. The access information should always be treated confidentially and the browser window should be closed when communication with Brüniger is ended, especially if the computer is shared with others

Standard deadlines for deleting data:
The legislature has issued a variety of storage obligations and periods. After these periods have expired, the corresponding data will be routinely deleted. If data are not affected by this, they will be deleted if the purposes mentioned under 4. cease to apply.
Every customer has to register for the order and thus has a personal account with which he can place orders. In this case, the data will be kept until the customer cancels his registration. The customer can cancel his registration at any time.
Newsletter
We do not send newsletters without consent. We also reserve the right to inform our affected customers by e-mail in the event of order bottlenecks, after order bottlenecks have been eliminated or in the event of other relevant events.
Your rights
In principle, the customer has the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection.
